Attraction Marketing or Old School MLM

What do farmers and hunters have to do with attraction marketing and old school MLM? Well, if you think about it, farmers and hunters both work for their food because they have to. Otherwise they wouldn’t be able to provide for their families or their community. And while they do provide food in different ways, in the end they’re still working towards that very same goal.

In old school multi-level marketing, entrepreneurs must hunt down their prospects just like hunters do. Those prospects of course aren’t just going to stand still and let you catch them. They’re going to run like hell because they don’t want to spend their hard earned money on a product or service they’re really not sure of. They also don’t want to be bothered with long and boring sales pitches about that product or service because they don’t have the time and well, it’s boring!

Yet, that doesn’t mean entrepreneurs like you and I can’t be like all of the hunters and never bring home a prospect. Instead we must think differently using a different kind of weapon known as attraction marketing.

Attraction marketing is a lot like farming. Farmers don’t need to be as aggressive, so their prospects don’t usually run. With attraction marketing your prospects are far less likely to run and will probably run to you instead. And unless you like the thrill of a chase with the risk of coming home empty handed, you need attraction marketing (farming).

When you provide the right type of conditions for your business to grow, you’re allowing yourself to share your products without hard work and provide others with the opportunity to become a part of your business because in reality, they’ve already taken an interest in your product. Your prospects are already there, all you need to do is nurture them and watch them grow.

But really, why would you want to be an old school marketer when attraction marketing is so much easier and a lot less aggressive. Of course, you can take those aggressions out by building your business, but I don’t really recommend it on your leads or prospects or yourself.
 
Instead, you need to make yourself attractive to the people you talk to. You need to make your products and your opportunity attractive because if you don’t, your potential leads and prospects aren’t going to talk about your business and they aren’t going to come your way.

So now that you know how to gather prospects without making them run the other way, isn’t it about time to take back your business and make attraction marketing a part of your life?
